About Us
Mahatee Interactives is the brain child of two parents.
This creative idea was conceived while they were on a quest to find best kids’ books and baby toys for their darling daughter in order to avoid screen time.
In the market full of kids’ picture books, board books, quiet books, activity kits, interactive baby toys and so much more, one thing is missing – kids board books and interactive baby toys in vernacular languages that also have Indian cultural references.
Mahatee Interactives is a small step towards bridging that gap. The aim is to introduce never-seen-before content through kids’ books and toys that meet the following goals:
Enrich the bond between parents and their kids through fruitful interactions.
Provide content in regional languages and references, which the child is familiar to the most in infant stage.
Introduce Indian scriptures and mythology from a very early stage of development of the child, with the authentic references.
Founders
Gayatri Pataskar & Shantanu Pataskar,
are the founders of Mahatee Interactives.
After working for around 8 years in the BFSI sector, Gayatri moved on to the “most rewarding job “, of a full-time mom. While she was constantly searching for best books and toys, with regional references and in her mother tongue Marathi, for her daughter, Shantanu could identify the gap in the market and formulated a business plan. Thus, Gayatri (Proprietor) and Shantanu as her support, introduce to the world their second child, ‘Mahatee Interactives’ named after their first one.
Guidance
Dr. Bhagyalata Pataskar
Dr. Bhagyalata Pataskar (PHD in Sanskrit), former director of Vaidik Samshodhan Mandal, is an eminent scholar and researcher, and is a flag bearer to promote Vaidik way of life. She brought to Mahatee Interactives, substance, on which all the content in the upcoming books and toys will be based, the Ancient Scriptures of Vedas, Upanishadas, Purāṇas etc.
Mrs. Anjanee Warkar
Mrs. Anjanee Warkar, retired as primary teacher from Bal Shikshan School, Pune. During her service of 36 years and after the retirement, she is very much connected with the children of different age group, through different projects such as storytelling sessions. She is a strong believer of the primary education in mother tongue, and has been awarded with “Adarsha Shikshak Puraskar” of Pune Municipal Corporation.
Ms. Vyjayanti Dhole – Patil
Pioneer of printing industry in Pune, she has been the mentor of those who strive in this industry till date. She has been the ultimate support we received in terms of pushing us to realise this idea, providing the professional help for printing, motivating us to self-publish and hence take full charge of our idea.
